In accordance with the newly issued document Requirements on Senior Accountant Qualification of Zhejiang Province, there will be slight adjustment of the requirements on the application of senior accountant qualification since June 1, 2011.
First, cancel the regulation that those in possession of intermediate professional and technical qualification in related fields can apply for senior accountant qualification. Intermediate professional and technical qualification in related fields include: professional and technical qualifications such as tax economist and auditor, and relevant practicing qualifications such as certified tax agents and certified public valuer.
Second, cancel the regulation that junior college graduates of financial and economical universities can apply for senior accountant qualification in normal way. Those people now have to meet the requirements of exceptional application for senior accountant qualification. Third, it is stipulated that those who obtain the certified public accountant first and get Bachelor degree later can apply for senior accountant qualification in normal way when they have been engaged in professional accounting work for 2 years after graduation.
Additionally, those with 20 years' working experiences in professional accounting work and obtain their certified public accountant qualification after junior college graduation over 7 years, and those with 25 years' working experiences in professional accounting work and obtain their certified public accountant qualification over 10 years can apply for senior accountant qualification exceptionally.
